The Pittsburgh Pirates today recalled outfielder Jordan Luplow from Triple-A Indianapolis.

The Pittsburgh Pirates today recalled outfielder Jordan Luplow from Triple-A Indianapolis. 
Luplow hit .297 (81-for-273) with 22 doubles, three triples, eight home runs and 47 RBI in 77 games this season at Triple-A, including a .422 clip (29-for-67) with five doubles, three homers and 16 RBI over his last 20 games. He also ranked eighth in the International League in batting (.297), tied for second in doubles (22), fourth in RBI (47), fifth in extra base hits (34) and second among all outfielders with nine assists.
Luplow will wear uniform #47. 
To make room for Luplow on the 25-man active roster, right-handed pitcher Clay Holmes has been optioned to Single-A Bradenton.
