The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced plans for Fan Appreciation Day, presented by PNC, on Sunday, September 25.  As the season comes to a close, the final Sunday game of the year will be filled with promotions, activities and special surprises.

As a thank you to all fans, the Pirates are offering $10 tickets for September 25, or any home game for the remainder of the season.

The day will kick off with Kids Day on Federal Street. Starting at 11 a.m., the Family Fun Zone will have activities for the whole family, including balloon artists, face painters and inflatables. Kids ages 14 and under are invited to run the bases postgame.

Once inside the ballpark, there will be prize giveaways throughout the game. Over 350 prizes will be given to fans, including gift cards and autographed memorabilia.

Sunday will also include the popular Shirts Off Our Backs promotion as fans will have the opportunity to win a game-used jersey from a Pirates player and a meet-and-greet on the field immediately after the game.
