The Pittsburgh Pirates today placed outfielder Ben Gamel on the 10-day injured list (retro to August 5) with a right hamstring strain.

In addition, infielder Colin Moran has been returned from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis and reinstated from the 10-day injured list (left wrist bone fracture).
