The Pirates have added RHP Carson Fulmer to the active roster and have reinstated RHP Kyle Crick from the injured list.

To make room on the active roster, RHP Nick Mears and infielder Will Craig have been optioned. 

Fulmer was claimed off waivers from Detroit on 8/24.  He made seven appearances with the Tigers (6.2ip/8h/5r/5er/3bb/7so) before being designated for assignment on 8/20.  Originally selected by the White Sox in the first round of the 2015 First-Year Player Draft, Fulmer made his big league debut with Chicago in 2016.  He has appeared in 51 Major League games with the White Sox (2016-19) and Tigers. 

Fulmer will be wearing uniform #56. 

Crick was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right lat muscle strain on July 28.He made his last appearance on July 27 and surrendered a two-out, game-tying double to Ryan Braun in the ninth inning.
