Brad did not allow a run over 15 appearances in 2021, spanning 17.0 innings for the Cubs... Finished the season with the third-longest active scoreless streak by a reliever in the majors, trailing Casey Sadler (27.2) and Josh Hader (20.1)... Struck out 19 over his last seven appearances, including a career-high five on June 18 vs. Miami... Tied his career-high in innings pitched (2.0) and notched a season-high four strikeouts July 6 vs. Philadelphia... Was placed on the injured list July 9, with an irregular heartbeat and missed the rest of the season.

2020

Brad made the Cubs Opening Day roster but appeared in just one game before being placed on the 10-day injured list July 26 with a right hamstring strain...was transferred to the 45-day injured list, August 18, and missed the rest of the season...Diagnosed with an intermittent "atrial flutter," an abnormal conduction of the heart, in Spring Training and underwent surgery to correct the issue on February 24 in Chicago.

2019

Split the season between Lake Elsinore (A) and San Antonio (AA), pitching to a combined 4-1 record in 41 relief appearances, posting a 1.17 ERA (8 ER, 61.1 IP) with 93 SO to 24 BB and a .202 opponents' average...Named a California League Mid-Season All-Star for Lake Elsinore...Missed some time with San Antonio while on the seven-day DL from 8/16-9/2.

2015

Began the season with Savannah (A) before being traded to SD and splitting the remainder of the season between Fort Wayne (A) and Lake Elsinore (A)...Pitched to a 7-11 record in 23 combined starts for Savannah, Fort Wayne and Lake Elsinore, posting a 4.09 ERA (56 ER, 123.1 IP) with 139 strikeouts SO against 40 BB...Acquired by SD as a PTBNL along with RHP Cory Mazzoni from NYM in exchange for LHP Alex Torres...Placed on the seven-day DL while with Lake Elsinore from 9/3-28, missing the remainder of the season.

2014

Made his professional debut with Brooklyn (A), making 16 relief appearances and posting a 1-1 record with a 1.40 ERA (4 ER, 25.2 IP) and 39 strikeouts against six walks while limiting opponents to a .181 batting average.
