Did not pitch while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

2022

Made seven appearances (5GS) across three levels of the Rays system, posting a 2.93 ERA (15.1IP, 5ER)…underwent Tommy John surgery in September.

2021

Made 4 starts over two rehab assignments with the Rookie-level FCL Rays, returning from left labrum surgery…joined Double-A Montgomery on Aug. 6 and made three starts for the Biscuits before an elbow injury ended his season... Made six starts at designated hitter for Triple-A Durham while recovering from surgery... Underwent thoracic outlet syndrome decompression surgery Nov 23, performed by Dr. Greg Pearl in Dallas... His rookie status is still intact entering 2022.

2020

Underwent left labrum surgery, performed by Dr. Neil ElAttrache in Los Angeles, on Aug 19 and missed the entire season...Ranked by Baseball America as the No. 7 prospect in the Rays system following the season… the publication also tabbed him as having the Best Control in the organization for a third consecutive year...His rookie status is still intact entering 2021.

Split the season between Class-A Bowling Green and Class-A Charlotte, and made 2 starts for the GCL Rays on rehab assignment…went 5-2 with a 2.41 ERA (78.1-IP, 21-ER) in 19 apps (17 starts) between the three levels and tied for sixth among Rays minor leaguers with 103 SO...Hit .214/.368/.359 (41-for-192) with six HR...Was on Charlotte's injured list for a month with a right abdomen strain...Named the Rays Minor League Pitcher of the Month for April, going 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA (14-IP, 3-ER) and 24 SO in 4 starts...Named to the Rays Organizational All-Star Team by MLB.com...Ranked by Baseball America as the No. 47 overall prospect in the minors following the season… was the No. 3 prospect in the Rays system.

2017

Began his professional career with Short-A Hudson Valley, making six starts on the mound and batting .232 (29-for-125) with 4 HR....Ranked by Baseball America as the No. 39 overall prospect in the minors following the season… was the No. 3 prospect in the Rays system and the No. 1 prospect in the New York-Penn League…the publication also tabbed him as the Best Power Hitter in the organization...Ranked by MLB.com as the No. 1 first base prospect and No. 5 left-handed pitching prospect… he and Shohei Ohtani (Angels) became the first players since rankings began to be on two of its Top 10 position lists in the same offseason.
