A's recall RHP Ryan Dull from AAA Nashville; Place LHP Brett Anderson on the DL

The Oakland A's recalled right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull from Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today. The A's also placed left-handed pitcher Brett Anderson on the 10-day disabled list with a left shoulder strain.
Dull, who was optioned to AAA Nashville yesterday, began the season on the disabled list with a strained right shoulder and had a 2.25 ERA in three rehab appearances with Nashville before he was reinstated from the DL April 14. He has a 6.30 ERA and .325 opponents batting average in 12 relief appearances with Oakland.
Anderson was removed from the game yesterday before throwing a pitch in the second inning with a left shoulder strain. In four starts with Oakland, he was 0-2 with a 7.63 ERA (13 er, 15.1 ip) with eight strikeouts. Anderson was signed by the A's to a minor league contract March 19 and began the season at Nashville. He was 1-1 with a 1.89 ERA and .230 opponents batting average in four starts with the Sounds.
