Division rival New York Mets are in town during the final series of the Phillies homestand on Monday, June 24 – Thursday, June 27. Here’s a look at some of the highlights:

  • At Monday’s 7:05 p.m. game, NBC Sports Philadelphia will broadcast their Phillies pregame show live from the Budweiser Rooftop. Plus, take part in fan opportunities with alumni from the United States Olympic Team, and it’s Miller Lite Monday.
  • Before the game, stop by the Left Field Plaza to get autographs with alumni from the U.S. Olympic Team including 2016 fencing bronze medalist Monika Askamit and 1976 rowing bronze medalists’ Ann Jonik and Marie Jonik-Myers. Plus, an Olympian alum will be among those throwing the ceremonial first pitch.
  • Enjoy Miller Lite Monday specials, which includes $1 off 24 oz. Miller Lite cans.
  • Prior to Tuesday’s 7:05 p.m. game, the Phillies are hosting the African American Heritage Celebration presented by The Sound of Philadelphia. Plus, actor David Harbour who plays Jim Hopper in the Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
  • Starting at 5:35 p.m., T33N Philly will perform at the Left Field Gate. Also happening from 6:15-6:45 p.m., fans can take photos with Gary “Sarge” Matthews, 1983 National League Championship Series MVP, at Pass and Stow (adjacent to the Third Base Plaza).
  • At 6:30 p.m. the on-field festivities begin, which include a performance by Russell Thompkins, former lead singer for the legendary group The Stylistics. Known for songs like “You Make Me Feel Brand New,” Thompkins will also be presented with the 2019 Gamble and Huff Community Service Award, along with Lloyd Parks, the original member of the iconic group Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes, which had global hits such as “If You Don’t Know Me By Now.”
  • Also being presented with Gamble and Huff Community Service Awards are the following music legends: Alan Rubens, label executive responsible for R&B groups such as Blue Magic; Chuck Gamble, former executive vice president of Philadelphia International Records and co- creator with the Phillies of the annual TSOP event for the past 15 years; and Mimi Brown, WDAS radio personality celebrating 40 years on the radio, and who will have the honor of throwing a ceremonial first pitch.
  • Other performers include ODUNDE 365, and Patty Jackson from WDAS Philly will emcee the event.
  • There is an African American Heritage Celebration Theme Night ticket in honor of the evening, which features a $4 discount off tickets in locations regularly priced $47 and under. Click here for details.
  • At Wednesday’s 7:05 p.m. game, celebrate Philadelphia's rich LGBTQ culture at the Phillies fourth annual Pride Night presented by Giant Food Stores!
  • The Rainbow Chorale of Delaware will perform the national anthem. Plus, the first 1,000 fans to purchase tickets through this special Theme Night promotion, which features a $2 discount off tickets in locations regularly priced $47 and under, will receive a coupon for an exclusive Phillies Pride Night presented by Giant Food Stores Wearable Pride Flag.   • The event also features a food and toiletry collection (located behind section 210) for Bebashi: Transition to Hope. Click here for a list of needed items. Fans who make a donation will receive a voucher for discounted tickets to a future Phillies game.
  • At Thursday’s 1:05 p.m. Citizens Bank Businessperson’s Special, the ballpark is going retro for #ThrowbackThursday, and features special 1980s guests including Tommy Conwell, Ron Jaworski and Gary “Sarge” Matthews! Plus, after the game, it’s Nemours Kids Run the Bases.
  • Lots of 1980s fun! Tommy Conwell, front man for the Philadelphia-based band Tommy Conwell & The Young Rumblers, will sing the National Anthem. Also, Ron Jaworski, former quarterback who led the Eagles to reach the franchise's first Super Bowl appearance in 1980, will make the ceremonial first pitch. Plus, fans can meet Phillies alum Gary “Sarge” Matthews at the Third Base Plaza before the game, as well as watch the group PHRESH dance behind Sections 101/102.
  • On the field, Phillies players will wear a 1980s-era powder blue uniform and burgundy cap. Ballgirls and the grounds crew will also be dressed in retro outfits, and the field will feature retro batting circles and base jewels. Plus, PhanaVision will be going retro with logos, music, player headshots and features.
  • Don’t forget! Children 14 and under are invited to go onto the field and run the bases immediately after the game.
  • Bid on new and game-used autographed memorabilia during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Auction benefitting the Pennsylvania SPCA. Bid via the MLB Ballpark app until July 9 at noon. Featured items include those signed by World Series Champion Chase Utley, who is a big supporter of the cause, as well as Phillies’ Bryce Harper, Rhys Hoskins and more.

Other need-to-know information:

  • Gate Openings: Main gates open 1½ hours prior to game time. Ashburn Alley and a portion of the Third Base Gate granting access to Pass and Stow open 2 hours before every game. The entrance to Ashburn Alley is the Left Field Gate.
  • Parking Lot Openings: All parking lots open 5 hours prior to game time.
  • Broadcast Information: Games will broadcast on NBCSP, WIP (94.1 FM) and WTTM (1680 AM - Spanish). Games are available via live stream for authenticated subscribers on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s new MyTeams app.
