On Monday, June 17, top high-school all-stars will showcase their skills as they compete in the Phillies Baseball Carpenter Cup Semi-Finals at Citizens Bank Park, and the Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup at the team’s MLB Urban Youth Academy at FDR Park.

Both events are presented by Nike and recognized nationally as top tournaments for high school students. The Phillies Carpenter Cups have been a catalyst for many players to receive scholarships and admission to some of the country’s finest universities. The full schedule is below.

JUNE 17-18: PHILLIES BASEBALL CARPENTER CUP CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES

Citizens Bank Park

The top four high school all-star baseball teams have advanced to the semi-final games of the 34th Phillies Baseball Carpenter Cup, and will compete for the championship title on a major league field! Click here for the current Phillies Baseball Carpenter Cup standings. More than 400 high school players take part in the tournament each year, with many going on to become major leaguers. Olympic Colonial won last year’s event.

Phillies MLB Urban Youth Academy, Softball Fields at FDR Park

The area’s top 250 high school softball players will play in this 31-game tournament, which features 16 teams representing 17 different leagues. There is free admission and parking, with the field entrance from Pattison Avenue (just off Broad Street). This is the 15th year of the Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup, with Delaware South winning last year’s tournament.
