The Toronto Blue Jays have traded RHP Jeremy Beasley to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for cash considerations.

Beasley, 26, has appeared in nine games for the Blue Jays this season, holding a 4.80 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. The native of Lyons, GA, was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2017 (30th round) and made his Major League debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2020. Over the span of three MLB campaigns, the 6-2, 235 lb. reliever has gone 0-1 with a 5.84 ERA.
