Colorado Rockies Agree to Terms with 30 Selections

The Colorado Rockies announced today that the Club has agreed to terms with 30 of their 41 selections from the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

The Colorado Rockies announced today that the Club has agreed to terms with 30 of their 41 selections from the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Among the Rockies' top-10 drafted players who have agreed to terms are right-handed pitcher Robert Tyler (Lottery Round A), left-handed pitcher Ben Bowden (second round), shortstop Garret Hampson (third round), third baseman Colton Welker (fourth round) and catcher Brian Serven (fifth round).
The club has already announced this week that it had agreed to terms with their first-round selection (fourth overall), right-handed pitcher Riley Pint.
