PHOENIX -- The D-backs will celebrate the Fifth of July this Friday with a 6:10 p.m. game against the Colorado Rockies and a postgame Fireworks Spectacular, presented by Gila River Hotels & Casinos.

D-backs players and on-field personnel will wear stars and stripes-themed cap and socks throughout the weekend and the game-worn caps will be available for purchase at D-backs Authentics beginning July 18 to benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. The Chase Field Team Shop will have patriotic-themed items including ladies and men’s T-shirts, on-field caps, stars and stripes socks and accessories for all holiday fun.

Fans can also enjoy a Fifth of July food item exclusively available on Friday only inside Chase Field:

• Red, White & Blue Nachos - Cinnamon-sugar flour tortilla chips topped with vanilla frozen yogurt, berry compote, whipped cream, white chocolate sauce and red velvet cookie pieces … will be available at Sweet Treat Portables

The D-backs and Chase will also surprise a military veteran with a special, life-changing opportunity during a special pregame recognition.
