The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled RHP Braden Shipley from Triple-A Reno today after optioning RHP Silvino Bracho to Reno following yesterday's game. In a separate transaction, C Óscar Hernández was outrighted to Double-A Jackson.
Shipley, 25, has 2 spots starts for the D-backs this season, going 0-1 with a 7.00 ERA (7 ER in 9.0 IP). In 12 starts for the Aces, he is 5-3 with a 4.58 ERA (36 ER in 70.2 IP) and was named Reno's Pitcher-of-the-Month for May.
