The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated C Chris Iannetta from the 7-day concussion disabled list. To make room for Iannetta, the D-backs optioned RHP Silvino Bracho to Reno following last night's game.
Iannetta, 34, was placed on the disabled list on May 14 (retro May 13) after being struck in the mouth by a pitch from Pirates' Johnny Barbato on May 12. He has played in 20 games for Arizona this season, batting .220 (13-for-59) with 3 home runs and 6 RBI, including a .391 (9-for-23) clip vs. left-handed pitching.
