D-backs select 30 players on third day of 2017 MLB Draft

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) selected 30 players in Rounds 11-40 of Major League Baseball's 2017 First-Year Player Draft.

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) selected 30 players in Rounds 11-40 of Major League Baseball's 2017 First-Year Player Draft. Overall, the D-backs selected 31 college players and 10 high school players with 15 right-handed pitchers, 12 infielders, 7 outfielders, 5 catchers and 2 left-handed pitchers.
Below is a list of the notable picks on Day 3:
OF Clayton Keyes (Round 15, Pick 442) | B/T: R/R | Age: 18 (1/7/99) | 6-0, 215 | Bishop Carroll HS (CAN)
∙ Native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and was committed to Central Arizona Junior College in 2017, but decided to stay home for a fifth year of high school.
∙ Was a member of Canada's Junior National Team, where he was teammates with D-backs' 2016 second-round pick, Andrew Yerzy.
∙ Played for the Langley Blaze, the same academy team Brett Lawrie played for as a teenager.
∙ Previously selected by the Blue Jays in the 17th round of the 2016 draft.
RHP Trent Autry (Round 17, Pick 502) | B/T: R/R | Age: 19 (8/12/97) | 6-2, 215 | Florence-Darlington Tech (S.C.)
∙ Threw 2 no-hitters for Florence Darlington Technical College (S.C.) in 2017, leading the Stingers to their first appearance in the Junior College World Series.
∙ Set a school record with 115 strikeouts last season, including 16 during his second no-hitter of the season on May 18 vs. Monroe Community College.

∙ Committed to play for the current No. 1 ranked Oregon State Beavers next fall, and rated by Baseball Northwest as the No. 3 high school prospect in Oregon.
OF Ernie De La Trinidad (Round 19, Pick 562) | B/T: L/L | Age: 21 (1/3/96) | 5-9, 165 | UNLV (Nev.)
∙ Native of Phoenix, Ariz….Attended Mountain Pointe High School, University of Arizona and Central Arizona College before transferring to UNLV. 
∙ Helped lead Mountain Pointe to a state title in both baseball (2011) and football (2013).
C Dominic Miroglio (Round 20, Pick 592) | B/T: R/R | Age: 22 (3/10/95) | 6-0, 185 | University of San Francisco
∙ Named a semifinalist for the 2017 Johnny Bench Award after he led the West Coast Conference with 25 runners caught stealing and threw out 56 pct. of base stealers.
∙ Began his collegiate career at UCLA before transferring to USF in 2015.
∙ Previously selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 16th round in 2016.
INF Jancarlos Cintron (Round 24, Pick 712) | B/T: R/R | Age: 22 (12/1/94) | 5-8, 170 | Nova Southeastern (Fla.)
∙ Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
∙ Helped Nova Southeastern University to a Division II National Championship in 2016.
∙ Is a volunteer with the Miracle League, a foundation that provides a safe and successful baseball experience for children, teens and adults with disabilities or special health care needs.
∙ Was the Southern Conference's Defensive Player of the Year while playing for Palm Beach State College in 2015.
LHP Tarik Skubal (Round 29, Pick 862) | B/T: L/L | Age: 20 (11/20/96) | 6-3, 215 | Seattle University (Wash.)
∙ Native of Kingman, Ariz….was a 3-year letter winner at Kingman Academy, where he led the Tigers to the state championship in 2012 and '13.
∙ He was named state Pitcher of the Year in 2013 and was named the MVP of the state playoffs in both 2012-13.
∙ Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American and Second Team All-WAC in 2015.
RHP Cole Percival (Round 31, Pick 922) | B/T: R/R | Age: 18 (2/26/99) | 6-6, 180 | Riverside Poly HS (Calif.)
∙ The son of former Major League pitcher and current UC Riverside head coach, Troy Percival…committed to play for his dad next season.
OF William Gorman (Round 32, Pick 952) | B/T: L/R | Age: 22 (11/8/94) | 6-4, 210 | Rochester Inst. Of Tech (NY)
∙ Holds numerous single-season records at Rochester Institute of Technology, including hits (61 in 2016), home runs (10 in 2017), runs (50 in 2017), RBI (52 in 2016) and total bases (107 in 2016 and '17) and career home runs (27) and RBI (155). 
∙ Majored in Chemical Engineering.
C Renae Martinez (Round 33, Pick 982) | B/T: R/R | Age: 23 (4/15/94) | 6-1, 205 | University of Oklahoma
∙ Reached the College World Series with UC Irvine as a freshman in 2014…transferred to Oklahoma in 2015.
∙ Attended San Pedro High School (Calif.) where he earned first-team All-CIF honors as a senior in 
∙ Played at MLB's Urban Youth Academy located at El Camino College-Compton.
OF Dan Swain (Round 34, Pick 1,012) | B/T: R/R | Age: 22 (9/30/94) | 5-11, 190 | Sienna College (NY)
∙ Selected with the third-annual "Cory Hahn 34th Pick"… the selection takes place each year and is named after Hahn, who currently works in the D-backs' scouting department…Hahn wore No. 34 for ASU and was selected with the 34th pick in the 2013 draft.
∙ Swain was a First Team All- MAAC selection in 2017 after leading the conference in both total bases (144) and triples (5)…he was the first Sienna player drafted since 2014 (Matt Gage by the Giants).
RHP Boyd Vander Kooi (Round 36, Pick 1,072) | B/T: R/R | Age: 18 (6/11/99) | 6-4, 200 | Skyline HS (Mesa, Ariz.)
∙ Native of Mesa, Ariz….named the 2017 Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year after going 6-1 with 1.49 ERA on the mound and hitting .512 with 6 home runs. 
∙ Committed to attending Arizona State University in the fall…had a 3.60 GPA in high school and volunteered in youth baseball initiatives.
SS Nathan Reynolds (Round 39, Pick 1,162) | B/T: R/R | Age: 21 (8/7/95) | 6-0, 175 | U. of Louisiana Monroe
∙ Nephew of former Major Leaguer Harold Reynolds, as well as nephew to D-backs' area scout Donnie Reynolds.
∙ Was named twice as a unanimous First Team All-Conference Selection.
∙ Led the Golden Eagles to back-to-back conference championships.
