The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated right-handed pitcher Chris Hatcher from the 10-day disabled list and optioned catcher/infielder Kyle Farmer to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated right-handed pitcher Chris Hatcher from the 10-day disabled list and optioned catcher/infielder Kyle Farmer to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hatcher, who missed 42 games due to a thoracic inflammation, last pitched on Wednesday for the OKC Dodgers allowing just one hit and collecting a strikeout in an inning of relief. In five rehab games (two starts) with Oklahoma City and the AZL Dodgers, Hatcher posted a 1.50 ERA (1 ER/6.0 IP) and struck out nine against just one walk. The Kinston, North Carolina native has gone 0-1 with a 4.66 ERA (19 ER/36.2 IP) in 26 relief appearances with Los Angeles this season and has struck out 43 batters against just 12 walks in 36.2 innings.
Farmer, 26, who made his Major League debut on July 30, appeared in 10 games with the Dodgers, batting .400 (4-for-10) with a run, a double and two RBI
