Get dad the ultimate Marlins Father's Day gift with the Better Halves Auction this week, June 8-14
MIAMI – In celebration of all dads across South Florida, the Miami Marlins Better Halves are hosting the annual Better Halves Baskets Auction, providing fans the ability to get their dad a grand slam gift for Father’s Day with unique items from their favorite Marlins players, such as autographed memorabilia, game-used equipment and personal novelties.
The annual Marlins Better Halves Baskets Auction is live online this week, June 8-14. Fans can begin submitting their bids now at Marlins.com/BetterHalvesAuction; the bidding will close on Sunday at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the 2020 Marlins Better Halves Tackle Auction will benefit the Miami Marlins Foundation’s Home Plate Meals Relief Fund, which has provided more than 300,000 meals to the South Florida community during the current pandemic.
The Marlins Better Halves (wives, fiancés, girlfriends and significant others of Marlins players) have gathered favorite items and memorabilia to prepare these personal collections. Baskets from the following players will be available: Sandy Alcantara, Jon Berti, Adam Conley, Robert Dugger, Brandon Kintzler, Pablo López, Miguel Rojas, Sterling Sharp, Caleb Smith and Jordan Yamamoto.
