CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transactions relative to the 2019 Major League roster:

Recalled RHP JEFRY RODRIGUEZ (#68) from AAA Columbus.

Optioned RHP JON EDWARDS to AAA Columbus.

Rodriguez, 25, has split the 2019 season to date between Triple-A Columbus and Cleveland, making a pair of spot starts for the Indians on April 13 and April 24 (2.13 ERA, 3ER/12.2IP). Over his three starting assignments for the Clippers, he has posted an ERA of 4.96 (9ER/16.1IP), allowing just one run in 6.0 innings in his last start on April 30 at Indianapolis.
