Jackpot of at least $50,000 guaranteed for tomorrow’s 50/50 raffle at the Red Sox home opener; proceeds benefit the Red Sox Foundation

April 8th, 2019

The Red Sox Foundation, in partnership with Ascend Fundraising Solutions, is guaranteeing a $50,000 jackpot for the 50/50 Raffle taking place during the Red Sox home opener tomorrow, April 9, 2019.

The 50/50 Raffle is a fundraising tool for the Foundation and is available during every Red Sox home game at the ballpark, as well as online for fans located in Massachusetts. Half the net proceeds posted at each game go to the winning ticket holder. The other half goes to the Red Sox Foundation to support their charitable programs and partners.

“The 50/50 Raffle is incredibly important to the Foundation, not only as a means of raising critical funds for our community, but also as a unique opportunity to engage with Red Sox fans by giving them the chance to also benefit from their donation,” said Red Sox Foundation Executive Director Bekah Salwasser.

Ticket sales during the home opener will occur from the time gates open through the end of the sixth inning. Tickets are available from sellers in the stands, at a raffle kiosk located at Gates A, D & C, and online at redsox.com/5050.

To participate, fans must be in the State of Massachusetts and at least eighteen (18) years of age. Eligible fans may also purchase raffle tickets for this jackpot in advance of Tuesday’s game by visiting redsox.com/5050.
