FLUSHING, N.Y., June 25, 2020 – The New York Mets today announced that the club has signed outfielder Isaiah Greene, the 69th overall pick from the 2020 First-Year Player Draft.

Greene, 18, was a second-round compensatory selection from Corona Senior High School (CA). The 6-1, 180-pounder was ranked 49th by Baseball America among this year’s draft prospects. MLB Pipeline had the Southern Californian ranked 62nd.

Greene’s speed is his best tool, grading out at a 65 on the 20-80 scouting scale according to MLB._com. His 6.48-second 60-yard dash time ranked in the 99th percentile among potential 2020 draftees recorded by _Perfect Game.
