The New York Mets announced today that they have selected the contact of RHP Tyler Pill from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned RHP Rafael Montero to Las Vegas. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Mets transferred RHP Seth Lugo to the 60-Day DL. Pill will wear #56 and will be available for tonight's game in Pittsburgh. He has never appeared in the majors.
