The Orioles return home Monday, July 31, for a seven-game homestand featuring a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals and a four-game weekend series against the Detroit Tigers. The homestand will include the Casey Cares Foundation 5K Run/Walk at Oriole Park, two giveaway items featuring 2017 All-Star JONATHAN SCHOOP, and an Orioles Card Set presented by Topps. As always, students can enjoy a special discount on Friday nights, and children ages 4-14 can participate in the post-game Kids Run the Bases, presented by Weis Markets, following Sunday games throughout the year. The club will also host more than 1,000 children as part of the OriolesREACH Gameday Experience Program during the homestand.

For the second consecutive year, Orioles first baseman CHRIS DAVIS and his wife, JILL, will serve as race ambassadors for the eighth annual Casey Cares 5K Run/Walk at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Saturday, August 5, as the Orioles and OriolesREACH once again partner with the Casey Cares Foundation to host the race. The 3.1 mile run/one mile walk starts at 8:00 a.m., beginning at Oriole Park and ending on the field. Participants will enjoy a pre-race warm-up with the Oriole Bird, music, and other entertainment, as well as post-race refreshments. Top race winners will be announced in a pregame ceremony prior to that night's game against the Tigers. Entry fees are $45 through Friday, August 4, or $50 per person on race day (cash or check only). Children 8 and under can register for $20. All proceeds will benefit the Casey Cares Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides personalized, uplifting, and ongoing programs with a special touch to critically-ill children and their family members throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Since moving to Oriole Park in 2013, the race has raised more than $413,000.
