PHOENIX, ARIZONA – The Arizona Fall League (AFL) today announced the rosters for the 2019 AFL season that begins Wednesday, September 18. Team rosters reflect seven representatives from each MLB Club, and are divided accordingly to the organization’s respective AFL team assignment.

This year’s crop of talent features 20 players on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 list, including five in the top 20. The highest ranked prospect in the 2019 class, Angels’ farmhand Jo Adell (4th), will represent the Mesa Solar Sox. The top pitching prospect of 2018, Houston’s Forrest Whitley (MLB Pipeline’s #17 overall), will return to the desert for a second stint in the AFL to represent the Peoria Javelinas.

Regarded throughout professional baseball as the “finishing school” for top prospects since its inception in 1992, the six-team league features elite young players from every Major League Baseball Club.

The Arizona Fall League will play three games per day, six days a week starting on September 18. Daily start times are 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Due to construction at Scottsdale Stadium and Surprise Stadium this fall, the AFL will play at four Cactus League stadiums — Camelback Ranch-Glendale, Peoria Sports Complex, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, and Sloan Park.

The 14th annual Fall Stars Game (Saturday, October 12) and AFL Championship Game (Saturday, October 26) will be played at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
