OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s reinstated left-handed pitcher Reymin Guduan from the 10-day injured list and designated him for assignment, the club announced today.
Guduan was placed on the 10-day IL on May 28 retroactive to May 26 with a strained right groin. It was his second stint on the IL this year as he was previously sidelined from April 6 to 19 with a sprained left thumb. The 29-year-old left-hander was sent to Las Vegas on a rehab assignment on Saturday and did not allow a run in two relief appearances at Albuquerque (2.0 ip, 2 h, 1 bb). Guduan had a 6.28 ERA and .345 opponents batting average in 11 relief appearances with Oakland.
