Angels host Oakland and Houston in final homestand of the season

Angels face Athletics and Astros for a six-game homestand

ANAHEIM, CA – The Halos return to Angel Stadium for the last homestand of the 2019 season. Starting on Tuesday, September 24th, the Angels take on the A’s in a two game series, and then wrap up the 2019 campaign with four games against the Astros beginning on Thursday, September 26th. Below are the highlights for the upcoming week:

CEREMONIES

  • Prior to the games on Tuesday, September 24th and Wednesday, September 25th, local high school Cheer Squads will entertain fans from the field.
  • On Wednesday, September 25th, the Angels will recognize Andrew Heaney as the team’s Roberto Clemente Award Nominee. This award is given annually to the MLB player who "best exemplifies the game of baseball, sportsmanship, community involvement and the individual's contribution to his team", as voted on by baseball fans and members of the media.
  • On Thursday, September 26th, local high schools will sing the National Anthem from the field, in honor of Choir Night.
  • On Saturday, September 28th, the Angels Pitcher of the Year (Adenhart) and MVP Awards will be given to players as determined by their teammates.
  • Also on Saturday, September 28th, the Angels will host the Employees of the Year ceremony, to recognize exemplary employees from the 2019 season.
  • Band Night will take place at the ballpark on Saturday, September 28th, and local band members will perform the National Anthem.

CLYDE WRIGHT BOOK SIGNING

  • Prior to the games on Tuesday, September 24th and Thursday, September 26th, Angels Alum Clyde Wright will be signing copies of the book “Baseball The Wright Way”, in front of the Lexus Diamond Club from 6-8pm.

PAINT NIGHT

  • On Wednesday, September 25th, Paint Night led by Pinot’s Palette, will take place prior to the game in the Music Garden. Fans may purchase tickets for this event, which includes a pregame paint session, and a Club All-Star seat for the game against the A’s.

CYPRESS COLLEGE NIGHT

  • Prior to the game on Thursday, September 26th, Cypress College students, faculty and alumni will be celebrated at the stadium. Festivities include a tailgate in the Gate 5 Courtyard, and Cypress College themed Angels cap.

FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT

  • The Angels will host Fan Appreciation Night to thank fans for yet another successful season of support for the team. Festivities

include a stadium-wide raffle for a variety of prizes throughout the game.

FIREWORKS

  • After the game on Saturday, September 28th, fans will be treated to a postgame firework display, courtesy of Wells Fargo.

SEASON SEAT HOLDER PARADE

  • On Sunday, September 29th, in recognition of the Angels Season Seat Holders’ dedication to the year, the Angels will conduct a

season seat holder parade around the warning track, a season seat holder ceremony and season seat holder kids take the field with the team.

GIVEAWAYS

  • The first 30,000 fans in attendance to the game on Tuesday, September 24th, will receive an Ohtani Shirt, presented by GungHo

  • On Friday, September 27th, the first 30,000 fans in attendance will receive a Trout #27 Jersey, courtesy of San Diego County
