Blue Jays Claim Breyvic Valera

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have claimed INF BREYVIC VALERA off waivers from the NEW YORK YANKEES. To make room on the 40-man roster, RHP RYAN DULL has been designated for assignment.
VALERA, 27, played in 12 games for the Yankees this season, batting .219 with two extra-base hits. The 5-11, 160 lb. Montalban, Venezuela, native slashed .303/.389/.480 across 107 games in Triple-A this season.
