Brewers to make five selections in the 2020 First-Year Player Draft

Crew to Select 20th Overall in the First Round for the First Time

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers will make five selections in the 2020 First-Year Player Draft, which begins at 6 p.m. CT tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, including the 20th overall pick in the first round. This marks the first time that the Crew will select 20th overall.
 
Following the Brewers’ first-round pick tomorrow night, which is scheduled for approximately 8:04 p.m. CT, the final four rounds of the 2020 First-Year Player Draft will take place on Thursday, beginning at 4 p.m. CT. Below are approximate times for each of the Crew’s final four selections.

  • Second Round (53rd overall): 4:51 p.m. CT
  • Third Round (92nd overall): 6:43 p.m. CT
  • Fourth Round (121st overall): 8:06 p.m. CT
  • Fifth Round (151st overall): 9:33 p.m. CT

This year multiple networks will televise the First-Year Player Draft for the first time, with MLB Network and ESPN each producing live coverage of the event in its entirety. The Brewers will be represented on each network’s virtual draft programs by President – Baseball Operations and General Manager David Stearns.
