D-backs reinstate Luke Weaver from the 60-day injured list

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Luke Weaver (right forearm tightness) from the 60-day injured list. The D-backs’ active roster is now at 35 and the 40-man roster is at 40. Weaver, 26, is 4-3 with a 3.03 ERA (21 ER in 62.1 IP), .233 opponent average, 68 strikeouts

Weaver, 26, is 4-3 with a 3.03 ERA (21 ER in 62.1 IP), .233 opponent average, 68 strikeouts and 14 walks in 11 starts for the D-backs season. He has allowed 3 runs or fewer in each of his last 10 starts and has posted a 2.31 ERA (12 ER in 46.2 IP), .224 opponent average and 53 strikeouts in his last 8 starts since April 18. Weaver last appeared on May 26 @ Giants, earning the win after allowing 1 run on 6 hits in 5.0 innings.
