Dodgers open NLCS tomorrow against Braves

LOS ANGELES– The Los Angeles Dodgers will open the best-of-seven National League Championship Series tomorrow at Truist Park against the Braves, a rematch of the 2020 NLCS. Tomorrow’s Game 1 starts at 5:07 p.m. PT, followed by Game 2 Sunday (4:37 p.m. PT) in Atlanta before the series shifts to Los Angeles for Games 3-5 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (if necessary). Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) would be next Saturday and Sunday in Atlanta.

The entire series will be nationally televised on TBS and broadcast locally on AM 570 LA Sports, KTNQ 1020 AM (Spanish) and KMPC AM 1540 (Korean). More information on the NLCS is below:

  • Road Game Viewing Parties: The Dodgers will host fans at Dodger Stadium for NLCS road games for Viewing Parties presented by Budweiser in the Centerfield Plaza. Entertainment options - including pitching & batting cages, the Dodgers Dugout AR Experience presented by Spectrum and additional big screens for viewing – will be activated for the viewing parties, which will include free parking for event ticketholders. Viewing Party tickets cost $70 and include a $20 food and beverage credit. Parking and stadium gates will open one hour before game times for the viewing parties, and more information can be found at Dodgers.com/ViewingParty.

Arrive Early!: Auto and stadium gates for NLCS home games will open 3 hours before game times, which have yet to be announced. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy batting practice and entertainment in the Centerfield Plaza.

Public Transportation/Ride Share:

  • The Dodger Stadium Express is free for all ticket holders, and connects to public transit centers at Union Station and the South Bay. Buses run approximately every 10 minutes from Union Station starting two hours before game time, and approximately every 15 minutes starting two hours before game time from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center.
  • Uber is the preferred ride of the Dodgers and offers fans a safe, affordable ride to and from the stadium at the tap of a button.

  • The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued a new order for outdoor mega-events (10,000 or more people), which includes games at Dodger Stadium effective October 8, 2021. All guests 12 and over will now be required to present at stadium entry gates proof of either (a) full vaccination or (b) a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event date. Details on acceptable forms of COVID-19 vaccination status and test results are noted below:
  • Proof of Full Vaccination: A person is fully vaccinated if at least two weeks have passed since they have received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The following are acceptable forms of proof of full vaccination: attendee’s COVID-19 vaccination card; OR a photo of attendee’s vaccination card as a separate document; OR a photo of attendee’s vaccination card stored on attendee’s phone or electronic device; OR documentation of attendee’s full vaccination status against COVID-19 from a healthcare provider (on a mobile app, paper document, digital wallet card). Vaccination cards/records must clearly show the name of the vaccinated attendee, type of COVID-19 vaccine administered, and date(s) of each dose administered. 
  • Proof of Negative COVID-19 Viral Test: The following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test result: a printed document from the test provider or laboratory showing the negative test result; OR an email or text message displayed on attendee’s phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory. Test results must clearly show the name of the tested attendee, type of test performed, date of the test (which must be within the prior 72 hours), and the negative test result.
  • In accordance with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) order (effective Aug. 19, 2021), all individuals ages two and older, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask or an appropriate face covering at all times at Dodger Stadium, except when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seat or when seated at a table. As defined by the LACDPH order, actively eating or drinking is the limited time during which the mask can be removed briefly to eat or drink, after which it must be immediately put back on.

2021 Season: The Dodgers finished the 2021 regular season with the best record ever for a defending World Champion at 106-56 (.654), 1.0 game behind the San Francisco Giants for the top record in the Majors. The 106 wins tied the 2019 club for the most victories in Dodger franchise history. Los Angeles earned its ninth consecutive Postseason berth and advanced to the NLCS by defeating the Giants in the Division Series following a victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card game.
