Dodgers recall Andre Jackson

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Andre Jackson and placed left-handed pitcher Tyler Anderson the paternity list.

Jackson, 26, returns for his fourth stint with the club and he has appeared in one game, allowing two hits in two scoreless innings. In his Major League career, he is 0-1 with a 1.98 ERA (3 ER/13.1 IP) and 12 strikeouts in four games. He was originally drafted in the 12th round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Utah.

Anderson, 32, is 15-3 with 2.62 ERA (47 ER/161.2 IP) and 119 strikeouts in 27 games this season. The southpaw is tied for third on the team in wins and ERA, while ranking first in innings pitched and strikeouts. He has been in the Majors parts of seven seasons with Colorado (2016-2019), San Francisco (2020), Seattle (2021), Pittsburgh (2021) and Los Angeles (2022) and he is combined 44-41 with a 4.21 ERA (367 ER/785.1 IP) and 661 strikeouts. He was signed by the Dodgers on March 18 as a free agent.
