Dodgers recall Michael Grove

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Michael Grove and optioned right-handed pitcher Andre Jackson to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Grove, 25, will make the start tonight for the Dodgers and he is 0-0 with a 4.82 ERA (5 ER/9.1 IP) and seven strikeouts in three games with the Dodgers. In 19 minor league starts between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City, he is a combined 1-5 with a 3.79 ERA (32 ER/76.0 IP) and 90 strikeouts. He has been with the Dodgers four seasons and he is a combined 2-14 with a 5.84 ERA and 251 strikeouts in 61 minor-league games. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the second round of the 2018 First Year Player Draft out of West Virginia University.

Jackson, 26, appeared in one game in his third stint with the team, allowing two hits in two scoreless innings on Sunday afternoon. In his Major League career, he is 0-1 with a 1.98 ERA (3 ER/13.1 IP) and 12 strikeouts in four games. He was originally drafted in the 12th round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Utah.
