Minnesota Twins Homestand Highlights: May 6-15

Twins’ longest homestand of the season features Oakland, Houston and Cleveland; Theme Nights, Promotional Giveaways and/or Ticket Deals available for all nine games

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The first-place Minnesota Twins, who have a 2.5-game lead in the American League Central division and are tied for the fifth-best record overall in the American League at 15-11 (.577), return to Target Field tonight (Friday, May 6) to begin their longest homestand of the 2022 season, a nine-game stay through Sunday, May 15. During the next 10 days, the Twins will host the Oakland Athletics (3 games, May 6-8), the defending American League champion Houston Astros (May 10-12) and the Cleveland Guardians (3 games, May 13-15).

  • Bell Family First Pitch: On March 26, 2021, the Twins and all Major League Baseball lost a beloved friend when former Twins bench coach Mike Bell passed away due to cancer. In honor of his enduring legacy and the Twins’ fight against cancer, Mike’s sister, Kristi, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch; after, the Twins will host Cleveland, the franchise for which Mike and Kristi’s father, Buddy, made his major league debut and played seven seasons.
