OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s Community Fund is launching its annual Giving Tuesday fundraiser to support its community programming in the Bay Area on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Fans who make an online donation at athletics.com/givingtuesday will receive a voucher for two tickets for a 2023 A’s home game.

All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Oakland A’s Community Fund and its initiatives focused on education, civic service, and youth sports in Oakland and the East Bay. Examples of how impact could be made at each donation level include:

  • $25 provides back-to-school supplies for an elementary school student.
  • $50 provides a classroom with Math Hits STEM game boards to make learning more fun.
  • $100 supports two students with a week of lunches.
  • $250 provides a family of four with one week of groceries.
  • $500 sponsors a Salvation Army family with care packages and winter coats.
  • $1,000 outfits an entire division of a youth baseball/softball league with a complete uniform set.

Giving Tuesday is a global movement, held annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, that marks the beginning of the charitable season. To learn more about the A’s work in the community and to donate to the Giving Tuesday fundraiser, fans can visit athletics.com/givingtuesday.
