The Pittsburgh Pirates today made the following roster moves:

Right-handed pitcher James Marvel has been selected from Triple-A Indianapolis. Marvel (pronounced MAR-vuhl) will make his Major League debut today against the St. Louis Cardinals. He will wear uniform #74.

Outfielder Jason Martin has been placed on the 60-day injured list with a left shoulder dislocation.

Additionally, right-handed pitcher Yefry Ramirez has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list (right calf strain).
