Rangers to host Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels in nine-game homestand, May 10-18 at Globe Life Field

Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers will return to Globe Life Field on Tuesday, May 10, for a nine-game homestand against the Royals, Red Sox and Angels.

The Rangers will start the homestand with a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals. The Rangers and Royals will face off on Tuesday, May 10, at 7:05 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, at 7:05 p.m., and Thursday, May 12, at 7:05 p.m.

The homestand will continue with a three-game series versus the Boston Red Sox. Games will be played on Friday, May 13 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at 6:05 p.m., and Sunday, May 15 at 1:35 p.m.

The Rangers will close out the homestand with a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels. Games will be played on Monday, May 16, at 7:05 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, at 7:05 p.m., and Wednesday, May 18, at 7:05 p.m.

On Friday, May 13, Justin Ruggiano former Texas Rangers outfielder (2016) will sign autographs from 5:15-6:15 in the New Era Alumni Alley located behind section 103. On Saturday, May 14, Danny Darwin, former pitcher for the Texas Rangers (1978-1984, 1995) and Boston Red Sox (1991-1994) will sign autographs from 4:15-5:15 in the New Era Alumni Alley.

From 3:30-6 p.m., on Saturday, May 13, the Texas Rangers will host Viva Tejas at the Arlington Backyard and the Globe Life Field North Plaza. Viva Tejas looks to highlight Hispanic traditions through food trucks, live music, partner activations, Hispanic vendors, Rangers trivia, prizes and more. The Rangers will continue the Viva Tejas event series for upcoming games on June 25, July 16, August 13, and September 24.

During a pre-game presentation on Saturday, May 14, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will recognize its first group of Faces of Freedom military honorees. As part of the Faces of Freedom program, winners recognized throughout the season will receive game tickets, an exclusive Globe Life Field tour, a trip to Washington D.C. courtesy of the Rangers Foundation and American Airlines, and more. On Sunday, May 15, the first 10,000 fans to enter the ballpark will receive a Texas Rangers 50th Anniversary Oven Mitt, presented by Globe Life.

On Monday, May 16, the Big 12 Baseball Championship trophy will be on display for fan photo opportunities on the main concourse near section 136. On Tuesday, May 17, Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker and 2021 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Micah Parsons will toss the ceremonial first pitch. Parsons will be the second Dallas Cowboys player to toss a ceremonial first pitch at a Rangers, Angels match-up this season. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence threw the ceremonial first pitch on Saturday, April 16.
