FRIDAY, JULY 12

VOTER REGISTRATION BOOTHS AT OPACY

As part of the club’s effort to encourage participation in our democracy, beginning July 12 and during every Friday home game, voter registration booths will be present at the National Woman’s Party’s Standing Together exhibit in the lower concourse behind home plate and in the left field upper deck concourse.

FRIDAY FIREWORKS & WOMEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC

The Friday Fireworks & Women of Country Music series takes place every Friday from June through August, headlining emerging female artists in partnership with Change the Conversation, a nonprofit organization advocating for women’s equality in the music industry. The Orioles invite fans to enjoy performances from emerging artists after the game followed by a spectacular fireworks display, presented by The Hartford. 

This Friday, the Orioles will feature a performance by country music singer/songwriter CLARE DUNN. Dunn was named this year as one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and has toured with many of her musical heroes including Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, and legend Bob Seger.

Friday Fireworks & Women of Country Music is part of the Orioles’ yearlong celebration of women’s equality and girls’ empowerment. Each date, the artists will also sign autographs and meet fans at the National Woman’s Party’s Standing Together exhibit on the lower concourse behind home plate during the fourth inning. Select artist and Orioles items will be auctioned off to raise proceeds to benefit the National Woman’s Party and Change the Conversation, as well as other groups helping to advance women’s and girls’ empowerment causes. 

JUNIOR FIRE MARSHALLS NIGHT

On Friday, the Orioles will host Junior Fire Marshalls Night presented by The Hartford recognizing more than 70 years of the Junior Fire Marshal program. Kids ages 14 and under may visit one of two giveaway tables, located at Kids’ Corner and on Eutaw Street, to receive a fire helmet.

Additionally, Junior Fire Marshals will participate in a pregame “Swearing In” ceremony, and Baltimore City Fire Department Battalion Chief MYA McCONNELL will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO: Joan Marie Twining

The Orioles will recognize JOAN MARIE TWINING, Founder, Executive Director, and Vision Keeper of the Rose of Sharon Equestrian School (ROSES), as Friday’s Birdland Community Hero. Established in 1998, ROSES is a strength-based program that partners people with special needs and second-career horses to facilitate change, growth, and healing in both, as well as the volunteers who serve them. The OriolesCharitable Foundation will make a $2,500 donation to the Rose of Sharon Equestrian School in support of the Birdland Community Heroes program.

FIRKIN FRIDAYS AT FLYING DOG TAP HOUSE

Every Friday throughout the season, the Flying Dog Tap House, located on the first base side of the lower concourse, will host Firkin Fridays and tap a new cask for a different beer each week. This Friday, the Double Dog Double IPA with Citra and Simcoe Hops will be available. A complete schedule of Firkin Friday beers is available at Orioles.com/food.

SATURDAY, JULY 13

YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL DAY PRESENTED BY NIKE

On Sunday, May 5, The Orioles concluded Play Ball Weekend with Youth Baseball and Softball Day presented by Nike. Youth baseball and softball players participated in a pregame parade around the warning track and were greeted by Orioles players as they walked by the dugout. Due to the postponement of that afternoon's game, the Orioles will welcome back the youth baseball and softball players for a second parade that will take place prior to game one of Saturday’s doubleheader. All youth baseball and softball players in the parade will receive a free kids hot dog and drink.

BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO: Andre Brown

During game one of Saturday’s doubleheader, the Orioles will recognize ANDRE BROWN, Gardenville Baseball League Commissioner and Orioles 16-18 RBI Coach, as the Birdland Community Hero. Brown has been involved with the Gardenville Baseball League for the last 16 years, and has had a prominent impact on over 500 players, parents, and colleagues throughout his coaching career. Brown and his coaching staff led the 2017 Senior Orioles RBI Baseball Division team to the World Series in Cincinnati after winning the RBI Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament in Philadelphia. In 2015, Brown was recognized by the City of Baltimore for his outstanding community service efforts. The Orioles Charitable Foundation will make a $2,500 donation to Fusion Partnership in support of the Birdland Community Heroes program.

BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO: Matthew Mescall

During game two of Saturday’s doubleheader, the Orioles will recognize MATTHEW MESCALL, Adapted Physical Education Instructor/Athletic Coach at The Maryland School for the Blind (MSB), as the Birdland Community Hero. Mescall, who has been on staff since 2011, serves children who are blind, visually impaired, and multiply disabled from 3 to 21 years of age. In 2017, he was named the Maryland Association of Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance (MAHPERD) Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year. The Orioles Charitable Foundation will make a $2,500 donation to The Maryland School for the Blind in support of the Birdland Community Heroes program.

BIRDLAND HAWAIIAN SHIRT

The first 30,000 fans 15 and over in attendance for game two of Saturday’s doubleheader will receive a Birdland Hawaiian Shirt presented by E-ZPass Maryland.

SUNDAY, JULY 14

BIKE TO THE BALLPARK DAY

As part of the Maryland Department of Transportation’s Bike and Pedestrian Safety Awareness campaign, fans are encouraged to bike to the ballpark for Sunday’s game. The first 90 fans who arrive by bike will receive a free ticket to the game, along with free light installation on the front and back of their bikes. Free bike parking will be available in a special secure bicycle parking area in Maryland Square by Gate C, where fans can also pick up their tickets. Additionally, two lucky bicyclists will win autographed items by an Orioles player. 

JAMES MOSHER COMMUNITY DAY

The James Mosher Associates will host a Community Day at Eddie Murray Field at BGE Park that will include a special visit from National Baseball Hall of Famer and Orioles Legend EDDIE MURRAY. The event will include face painters, a moon bounce, games, and food for attendees. The Orioles will donate memorabilia and giveaways for the estimated 400 community members in attendance. Orioles corporate partners Hoffman’s Meats, PepsiCo, Delaware North, and UTZ will donate food and beverages for the event.

Founded in 1960 by the James Mosher Associates, a nonprofit organization, James Mosher Baseball is believed to be the oldest continuously operating African American youth baseball league in the country. James Mosher Baseball and Softball actively takes part in the Baltimore Orioles RBI program.

ORIOLES COOLING TOWEL

The first 25,000 fans in attendance on Sunday will receive an Orioles Cooling Towel presented by Pepsi. 

SATURDAY ROOF DECK SESSION: Dimitrius Graham

Saturday’s session will feature a pregame performance by Baltimore-native and American Idol 2019 contestant DIMITRIUS GRAHAM on the Budweiser Roof Deck in center field. The performance will take place prior to game two of Saturday’s split-admission doubleheader. This season, the singer made national waves on American Idol, reaching the top nine. Graham’s musical background is deeply rooted in the Baltimore community, as a former soloist in the Reunion Choir of Baltimore and member of the Morgan State University choir. The performance will be broadcast throughout the ballpark, and fans will also be able to access the Budweiser Roof Deck with any game ticket on a first-come, first-served basis. Special $3 happy hour pricing on Bud and Bud Light will be available exclusively on the Budweiser Roof Deck from the time gates open until the scheduled first pitch. 

BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO: Kate Primm

The Orioles will recognize KATE PRIMM, Principal of The Green School of Baltimore, as Sunday’s Birdland Community Hero. One of the first public charter schools in the city, The Green School provides elementary school students with a hands-on learning program that incorporates study of the environment into every academic and extracurricular experience. Primm has been involved with The Green School since planning to open the school began in 2004, and in 2015, she was designated by Baltimore City Public Schools as a Transformational Principal, recognized for inspiring and mentoring both peers and students while ensuring excellent teaching and learning in every classroom. The Orioles Charitable Foundation will make a $2,500 donation to The Green School of Baltimore in support of the Birdland Community Heroes program.

MILITARY APPRECIATION PROGRAM

Military members from Fort Meade BOSS – Better Opportunities for Single Service Members will enjoy the game in a suite, experience a meet-and-greet with players, and receive a T-Shirt and cap as part of the Orioles’ Military Appreciation Sunday Suite Program presented by GEICO.

KIDS RUN THE BASES

Sundays are family days at the ballpark, when all fans ages 4-14 will be able to participate in a postgame Kids Run the Bases, presented by Weis Markets.
