Twins Announce 2020 Spring Training Promotional Dates; Season and Group Tickets on Sale Now

Spring Training Pick Five Pack to go on sale November 12; Single-game Tickets on Sale December 3 at 10:00 a.m. CT (11:00 a.m. ET)

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – With the offseason underway, the Minnesota Twins today revealed game times and promotional dates for 2020 Spring Training, while also announcing that the popular “Pick Five Pack” for tickets will go on-sale Tuesday, November 12. Spring Training season and group tickets can be purchased now, while single-game tickets will be available online or via phone beginning Tuesday, December 3 at 10:00 a.m. CT (11:00 a.m. ET).

2020 Twins Spring Training and Promotional Schedule

The 2020 Spring Training season will be the Twins’ 30th at the CenturyLink Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Florida. Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to begin their workouts on Wednesday, February 12, while the first full-squad workout is slated for Monday, February 17 in conjunction with the club’s annual Spring Training Open House for fans.

The Twins will host the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers for an exhibition game on Friday, February 21 at 5:05 p.m. CT (6:05 p.m. ET), while the official Grapefruit League home opener is Sunday, February 23 against the Toronto Blue Jays (12:05 p.m. CT/1:05 p.m. ET).

Highlighting the Twins’ promotional schedule is the annual “Minnesota Day” on March 15; Collectible Pin Giveaways on March 3 and 18; Fireworks Night on March 12; “Senior Day” specials featuring a Home Plate View Seat, Pepsi and hot dog for just $29 (February 23 and 26, and March 6, 11 and 18); and, “Salute to Service” games in which active military, veterans, police officers, EMTs, firefighters and teachers can purchase up to four tickets at half price in the Home Plate View or The Porch seating levels (February 23 and 29, and March 12).

Spring Training “Pick Five Pack” and Group Tickets

The Twins’ Spring Training “Pick Five Pack,” available online or via phone beginning November 12, will again provide fans with the flexibility to select five game dates from four categories at a discounted rate.

Spring Training group ticket discounts are available now for groups of 15 or more, with the savings dependent on the number of tickets purchased (the larger the group, the bigger the discount). Additionally, every group that exceeds 15 guests will receive $5 dollars off per ticket for any February game (excluding the Grandstand & Exhibition Game on February 21). Group discounts are not available for March 9, 14, 20 and 21, and both exhibition games (February 21 and March 23).

Season and group tickets for the Twins’ 2020 Spring Training campaign at Hammond Stadium can be purchased now, the “Pick Five Pack” will be available November 12, and single-game tickets will go on sale online and via phone December 3. The Hammond Stadium Box Office at CenturyLink Sports Complex will open on Saturday, January 11.
