Twins reinstate Parker from Paternity List

Smeltzer Optioned to Triple-A Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated right-handed pitcher Blake Parker from the Paternity List. This season, Parker has recorded 10 saves with a 3.77 ERA (31.0 IP, 13 ER) and 29 strikeouts.

Parker will take the 25-man roster spot of left-handed pitcher Devin Smeltzer, who was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday. Smeltzer appeared on Sunday vs. Texas, allowing one run on five hits in 4.1 innings of relief.
