The Chicago White Sox have added right-handed pitcher José Ruiz from Class AAA Charlotte to serve as the 26th man for Game 2 of today’s doubleheader vs. Houston.

Ruiz, 24, is 1-2 with a 5.45 ERA (20 ER/33.0 IP), 28 strikeouts and one hold in 34 relief appearances with the White Sox this season.
