The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has acquired 2017 International slot compensation from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for minor league infielder Yeyson Yrizarri.

The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has acquired 2017 International slot compensation from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for minor league infielder Yeyson Yrizarri (pronounced JAY-sin ear-uh-ZAHR-ee).
The 20-year-old Yrizarri was originally signed by Texas as a non-drafted free agent on July 2, 2013. He has combined to bat .258 with 7 home runs and 37 RBI in 82 games with Hickory (A) and Down East (High-A) this season.
