The Texas Rangers and Live Nation are excited to announce another major concert coming to Globe Life Park in Arlington in 2019.

The Texas Rangers and Live Nation will unveil the artist during a concert announcement this Monday, April 29th. The concert announcement will take place at Live! Arena inside Texas Live at 12 p.m..

Rangers Hall of Fame Outfielder Rusty Greer will join the Voice of Globe Life Park Chuck Morgan, Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams, Arlington CVB President Ronnie Price, and representatives from Live Nation for this special concert announcement.

There will also be a special video announcement from the artist.

“We are excited to announce another great artist to the concert lineup at Globe Life Park. This additional concert adds another incredible artist to an already iconic lineup of concerts for the final year of Globe Life Park,” Sr. Vice President of Operations and Events Sean Decker said.

The special concert announcement is open to the public. Texas Live! will offer ½ price burgers in Live! Arena from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m..

The special concert announcement will unveil the third major concert scheduled at Globe Life Park for 2019. The Texas Rangers previously announced that they are also hosting Sir Paul McCartney for the first major concert at Globe Life Park on June 14th, and Billy Joel will perform the final show at Globe Life Park on Saturday, October 12. 

2019 marks the Rangers final season in Globe Life Park before they move into Globe Life Field for the 2020 season. In addition to the historic concerts, the Rangers are also planning a number of special promotions and activities to commemorate the final season of Globe Life Park.
