Rays six-game homestand vs D-backs, Yankees

The Rays return to Tropicana Field on Monday to host the Arizona Diamondbacks (May 6-8) and New York Yankees (May 10-12) in a six-game homestand. The 2019 Rays season is presented by Tampa General Hospital.

Monday, May 6 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.

Tuesday, May 7 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.

Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays host a youngster from the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Children’s Dream Fund as a part of the “Tuesday’s Champion” program presented by RIPA & Associates. The Rays will host 10-year-old Oliver Kurtz from Make-A-Wish. As part of his special day, Oliver will meet Rays players and coaches during batting practice and throw a ceremonial first pitch.

Wednesday, May 8 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Tickets for the game are still available in other seating areas and may be purchased online at raysbaseball.com or at the BayCare Box Office at Tropicana Field. Bats N’ Brews: The Rays and iHeartMedia Tampa Bay’s “Bats N’ Brews” radio show, presented by Budweiser, airs live from the Budweiser Porch in center field and features Ryan Gorman from WFLA 970 AM.

Game of Thrones® Concourse Activities: As part of Major League Baseball’s partnership with HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones®, actors dressed as characters from the show will make appearances around the concourse. Fans will also have the opportunity to sit and take pictures on a replica iron throne at Gate 7.

The Rays Artist Print Series: In partnership with Creative Pinellas, an arts agency working to facilitate a vibrant and sustainable arts community, the Rays crafted an opportunity for artists in Tampa Bay to design prints that celebrate the hometown baseball team and honor the unique culture of the region. Each artist selected was invited to create a piece that represents her or his own style and interpretation of the Rays brand. The second of seven prints will be released on May 10 and be available for a limited time for $30 at the Rays Republic Team Store. Designed by Tampa Bay artist Carrie Jadus, the print depicts a leaping devil ray and the head of the Statue of Liberty, to symbolize the matchup between the Rays and Yankees. Saturday, May 11 vs. New York Yankees

Devil Rays Day: The Rays will wear their Majestic Athletic white alternate throwback Devil Rays jerseys and navy blue New Era retro caps, which debuted during last year’s 20th anniversary celebration season. This will be the second of five dates the Rays wear the throwback jerseys and caps.

Game of Thrones® Concourse Activities: As part of Major League Baseball’s partnership with HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones®, fans will have the opportunity to sit and take pictures on a replica iron throne at Gate 7.

Split the Pot Special Jackpot: The Rays Baseball Foundation, in partnership with Ascend Fundraising Solutions, is guaranteeing a jackpot of at least $40,000 for the game on Saturday, May 11. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase online following the conclusion of the game on Friday, May 10 at raysbaseball.com/splitthepot as well as at Tropicana Field on May 11 until the end of the 7th inning.

Sunday, May 12 vs. New York Yankees

First Pitch: 1:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 11:40 a.m.

Promotion: Snapback Hat designed by St. Petersburg multimedia artist Chad Mize and presented by FOX Sports Sun. Available for fans 14 years and under while supplies last.

Ceremonial First Pitch: The Rays will honor breast cancer survivor Sharon Tyson prior to Sunday’s game. Tyson, the Rays 2018 Fan of the Year, was selected as the team’s Honorary Bat Girl in support of Major League Baseball’s annual “Going To Bat Against Breast Cancer” initiative.

For the Kids: Sundays are Family Fun Days, courtesy of Tampa General Hospital. Every Sunday home game will feature free parking for cars with four or more passengers and a variety of postgame activities for kids, including Kids Run the Bases and a DJ Kitty Dance Party. For the sixth consecutive season, concourse activities will be complimentary for kids 14 years and under on Sundays. In addition, two Rays players will sign autographs for kids 14 years and under along the right field stands from 12:00–12:30 p.m.

Feeding Tampa Bay Cereal for Summer Drive: The Rays Wives are teaming up with Feeding Tampa Bay to fight child hunger by hosting a donation drive, and will be collecting cereal, breakfast bars, pop tarts and oatmeal at the Gate 1 Rotunda and Community Corner near section 108 from 11:40 a.m.–1:40 p.m. Fans who donate will receive a ticket voucher valid for two (2) lower corner tickets to a future Rays regular season home game. One voucher valid per household and exclusions apply.

Split the Pot: For all home games, fans can purchase Split the Pot raffle tickets at Tropicana Field as well as online at raysbaseball.com/splitthepot. Both Tropicana Field and online raffle ticket purchases build to the same pot for a larger payout for each raffle winner. To purchase raffle tickets online, fans must be located in one of the following nine counties: Charlotte, Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota. Proceeds from Split the Pot benefit the Rays Baseball Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization and the official charity of the Rays, and the Ted Williams Foundation.

The Outfielder Bar & Grill and Ballpark & Rec, presented by Samuel Adams, Early Entry: Located behind center field at Tropicana Field, the Outfielder Bar & Grill and Ballpark & Rec, presented by Samuel Adams, will open to fans three hours prior to first pitch for all home games at 4:10 p.m. or later.
