The Boston Red Sox today announced four personnel moves in the baseball operations department:
President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski made the announcement.
 
Bingol, 23, will primarily analyze pitch tracking data in support of both Vice President, Pitching Development and Assistant Pitching Coach, Brian Bannister and Pitching Development Analyst, Dave Bush. A West Chester, PA native, Bingol earned a degree in Computer Science and Business from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Prior to joining the Red Sox, he worked as an IT Solutions Coordinator at Keystone Dedicated Logistics in Carnegie, PA, and contributed to a pair of baseball websites, including Beyond the Box Score.
 
Hubert, 49, will assist Senior Baseball Systems Development Lead, Mike Ganley in the development of software applications to support various areas of baseball operations. Originally from Orangefield, TX, Hubert studied computer science at Northeastern University after serving 10 years (1987-97) in the United States Navy as a nuclear propulsion plant operator. Before coming to the Red Sox organization, he spent 15 years as a lead business application developer for Skillsoft, where he worked alongside fellow Red Sox Senior Baseball Systems Developer Eric Edvalson.
 
McLaughlin, 25, will oversee minor league video operations and baseball administration at Fenway South in Fort Myers, FL. A graduate of Oregon State University, McLaughlin is entering his third year in the Red Sox organization after having served as a Player Development intern in Fort Myers, FL in 2015 and as an Advance Scouting Intern in Boston in 2016. Prior to joining the Red Sox, McLaughlin, a native of Carmichael, CA, was a minor league video intern with the San Diego Padres in 2014.
 
Watkins, 27, will work on a daily basis with the Red Sox major league coaching staff and assist with the club's advance scouting efforts. He will also serve as the team's in-game instant replay coordinator. Selected by the Red Sox in the 10th round of the 2012 June Draft, Watkins, a former catcher, missed the entire 2013 and 2014 seasons while serving in the United States Army. A graduate of West Point in 2012, Watkins, spent the 2016 season between High-A Salem and Low-A Greenville, appearing in 31 games. Watkins, who resides in Greensboro, NC, is the son of Red Sox amateur scout Danny Watkins.
