Reds ‘Rockin’ 150’ Birthday Bash at GABP – July 5

The free Reds Rockin’ 150 Birthday Bash open house at Great American Ball Park on Friday, July 5 celebrates the 150th anniversary of baseball’s first professional team beginning at 5 p.m., culminating in a concert featuring three acts and a spectacular fireworks show. 

The online opportunity for Rockin’ 150 digital tickets is sold out. NOTE: A limited number of tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event at the main ballpark ticket windows beginning at 2 p.m.

Fans with tickets are encouraged to explore the ballpark like never before, including running the bases, walking the warning track, seeing the visitor’s clubhouse, press rooms and private clubs and meeting current Reds players, coaches and broadcasters. 

Access Your Digital Tickets: All tickets claimed for the Reds Rockin’ 150 are available ONLY as digital tickets via the free MLB Ballpark app. The digital tickets on your smartphone will need to be scanned to enter the ballpark. Event Timeline

5 p.m.: Ballpark gates open – _Guests are encouraged to use alternative gates at Mehring Way or Second Street for more swift entry, in addition to gates at CrosleyTerrace and the Hall of Fame Breezeway _

5:30 to 8 p.m.: Player appearances

8 p.m.: Main concerts begin – Phillip Phillips, X Ambassadors & 3 Doors Down 

11 p.m.: Event concludes with Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks show 

Reds Appearances

Photo opportunities and Q&A sessions featuring Reds players, coaches and broadcasters (no autographs permitted)

Appearances will be at various locations around the ballpark from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Fans can text 150 to 66128 to receive text message notifications 30 minutes prior to scheduled appearances. (Standard message and data rates apply)

Entertainment: Prior to the main concerts on the field, fans can enjoy DJs and live music on two side stages around the ballpark, including a performance by the Bronson Arroyo Band.

Interactives: Run the bases on the field, take a swing in the home and visitor’s batting cages and throw a pitch in the home and visitor’s bullpens.

American Huey Helicopters: In partnership with American Huey 369 from Peru, Indiana, three Vietnam-era choppers will be on display in the outfield for fans to explore.
