The Pirates have recalled Adam Frazier (INF/OF) from Triple-A Indianapolis and have optioned Casey Sadler (RHP) to Indianapolis.
Frazier, who was a member of Pittsburgh's Opening Day roster, is in his third stint with the Pirates this season (also 3/30 to 6/10 and 6/20-23).
In 58 games with the Pirates in 2018, Frazier is hitting .239 (33-for-138) with three doubles, two triples, three home runs and eight RBI.
He has made 25 appearances at second base, seven in right field, three in left field and three in center field.
Frazier reached base safely in each of his last eight games with Indianapolis, going 9-for-31 (.290) with four walks and a HBP.
