HALFWAY TO CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Oriole Park at Camden Yards’ bullpen picnic area will transform into a Winter Wonderland on Tuesday, June 25, as the Orioles invite fans to celebrate the halfway mark to Christmas during the club's 7:05 p.m. ET game against the San Diego Padres. Santa's elves will deck the halls around the bullpen picnic area and Orioles Legends Park, magically transforming the location into a wintry fantasyland complete with snow and holiday decorations. Musician JOHN PATTI will also peform songs from his Christmas album, “A Calyp-soul Christmas” on the steel drums during the party. Additionally, the first 20,000 fans 15 and over in attendance on Tuesday will receive an Oriole Bird Nutcracker Figurine.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

NATIONAL FOLK FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE

The Orioles will host a special performance on the Budweiser Roof Deck from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., presented by the National Folk Festival, featuring the music of Baltimore’s own BILLY McCOMISKEY, a National Heritage Fellow and master of the Irish button accordion. McComiskey will be joined by friends from Charm City’s distinguished Irish traditional music community.

Earlier in the day at Orioles Legends Park, the National Folk Festival will announce the performers, craftspeople, and demonstrators who will be featured in the Maryland Folklife Area &

Stage of the 79th National Folk Festival, which returns to downtown Salisbury, Md., this fall from September 6-8. The press conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is open to media and the general public. Additionally, Salisbury mayor, JAKE DAY will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the afternoon’s game.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27

CRUSH’S HOMERS FOR HEARTS

On Thursday, Orioles first baseman CHRIS DAVIS along with his wife, JILL, will host the third annual Crush’s Homers for Hearts home run derby to benefit the Children’s Heart Program and the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital. As ambassadors for the Children’s Hospital, the Davis’ raise awareness of childhood illnesses and disease research while regularly visiting the hospital to provide support and check-in on the families.

The home run derby offers participants the opportunity to experience a once-in-a-lifetime experience on the Oriole Park field which includes a warm-up on the field with the Orioles Strength & Conditioning staff, the home run derby event, complimentary food and drinks, and pictures with Jill and Chris Davis. Additionally, the Davis family will host patients from the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital for a T-Ball Challenge.
