Twins Place Adrianza on Injured List

Arraez Recalled from Triple-A Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed infielder Ehire Adrianza on the 10-day Injured List (retro to June 17) with abdominal issues. Adrianza has played 43 games for the Twins this season, hitting .271 (29-for-107) with two doubles, four home runs, 13 RBI, 13 walks, 20 runs scored and a .772 OPS.

To replace Adrianza on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled infielder Luis Arraez from Triple-A Rochester. Arraez, who played in 10 games this season with the Twins and was optioned in early June, hit .346 (18-for-52) with four doubles, eight RBI and five walks in 13 games during his most recent stint with the Red Wings.
