Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed right-handed pitcher Blake Parker on the Paternity List. Parker has appeared in 32 games, going 1-2 with a 3.77 ERA (31.0 IP, 13 ER), 13 walks, 29 strikeouts and 10 saves.

To replace Parker on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled right-handed pitcher Kohl Stewart from Triple-A Rochester. Stewart, who recently appeared in two games for the Red Wings, made three appearances (2 starts) this season for the Twins, going 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA (16.0 IP, 8 ER), five walks and four strikeouts. This will be Stewart’s fourth stint with Minnesota this season.
