Twins recall RHP Zack Littell from Triple-A Rochester

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Zack Littell from Triple-A Rochester. Littell has appeared in eight games (7 starts) for the Red Wings this season going 2-2 with a 4.19 ERA (43.0 IP, 20 ER), 16 walks and 45 strikeouts. Acquired via trade from the New York Yankees in 2017, Littell appeared in eight games (2 starts) for the Twins in 2018.

To make room for Littell on the 25-man roster, the Twins have designated right-handed pitcher Austin Adams for release or assignment. Adams recently had his contract selected from Rochester and made two relief appearances for the Twins this season.
