Following Saturday's game vs. Boston, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitchers Carson Fulmer and José Ruiz to Class AAA Charlotte.

Fulmer, 25, has gone 1-1 with a 6.97 ERA (8 ER/10.1 IP) in eight relief appearances over two stints with the White Sox this season.

Ruiz, 24, is 0-0 with a 5.40 ERA (6 ER/10.0 IP) in 11 games this season, all in relief.

The White Sox will make corresponding roster moves prior to Sunday's series finale vs. the Red Sox.
